AWESOME BEAUTY

The existence of the Blue Grotto in Capri, Italy was revealed in August 1826 by the German writer August Kopisch, who described its extraordinary beauty. Since then the Blue Grotto has become the emblem of the island of Capri.
The grotto was known to the locals under the name of Gradola, after the nearby landing place of Gradola, but it was avoided because it was said to be inhabited by witches and monsters.
The sunlight, passing through an underwater cavity and shining through the seawater, creates a blue reflection that illuminates the cavern.
There is a small hole in the cave wall and it is used as the entranceway. There is another larger hole lying directly below the entranceway, acting as the primary light source for the cave.
Tourists use rowboats to visit the Blue Grotto and they lie down while entering through the hole.

EYE OF SAHARA

The picture below shows the Eye of Sahara which can be seen in Mauritania in Africa. It’s located in a remote area and a very less chances for local people to have noticed it. Also the structure cannot be clearly seen once you are on ground. It was not well-known until some astronauts from space reported about its structure.

The Eye of Sahara is also commonly known as the Richat Structure. It is a huge circular formation thought to be a crater or a result of meteorite impact. Recent research suggests that it is formed due to erosion. It has a diameter of bout 40 kilometres.

It can be seen in as a clear view in Google Earth. The view is brilliant and amazing, so just try it.

WHO IS HE?

Tutankhamun was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty ruled during 1333 BC – 1323 BC in the conventional chronology, during the period of Egyptian history known as the New Kingdom.

Tutankhamun was the son of Akhenatenand one of Akhenaten's sisters. As a prince he was known as Tutankhaten. He ascended to the throne in 1333 BC, at the age of nine or ten, taking the reign name of Tutankhamun. He married his half-sister after becoming the king. He was a successful king who maintained good relations with other nations. Evidence of his success is suggested by the gifts from various countries found in his tomb.

Although there is some speculation that Tutankhamun was assassinated, the general consensus is that his death was accidental. He died at the age of 18. A CT scan taken in 2005 shows that he had badly broken his leg shortly before his death, and that the leg had become infected. DNA analysis conducted in 2010 showed the presence of malaria in his system. It is believed that these two conditions combined, led to his death.

KingTutankhamun's mummy  still rests in his tomb in the Valley of the kings.Tutankhamun was one of the few kings worshiped as a god and honored with a cult-like following during his lifetime. If Tutankhamun is the world's best known pharaoh, it is largely because his tomb is among the best preserved, and his image and associated artifacts the most-exhibited.

AURORA !!!

Chena Hot Springs Resort, Alaska is the place where the famous Aurora Ice Museum can be seen. It was completed in 2005 and a thousand tonnes of ice and snow were used to  build it. The temperature is maintained at 20 degrees Farenheit inside the museum. Keeping the museum icy cold in the heat of summer comes from the patented absorption chiller, the first of its kind in the world used for this purpose!

The Aurora Ice Museum gallery features amazing ice sculptures created by 13 time world champion ice carver Steve Brice and his team. Within the museum, they have created a two storey observation tower with a circular staircase, life size jousters on horse back, a polar bear bedroom, a Christmas tree bedroom, an igloo and an ice outhouse among other pieces of ice art and additional chambers made exclusively with Alaska Diamond or Alaska Marble ice.
The Aurora Ice Museum t is truly one of a kind because it is open year-round!

WIND TURBINES LYING ACROSS..!

The Bahrain World Trade Center is the first skyscraper to have wind turbines integrated into the structure of the building. This airfoil tapering allows the wind to enter the turbines at a perpendicular angle and increases air speed as much as 30 percent in each of the 95 ft wide turbine rotors.

Three large wind turbines are suspended between two office towers. The towers are aerodynamically tapered to funnel wind and draw air into the turbines. The turbines supply about 15 percent of the electricity used by the skyscraper - approximately the same amount of electricity used by 300 homes.

THE GREAT BARRIER REEF

One of Australia's most remarkable natural gifts, the Great Barrier Reef is blessed with the breathtaking beauty of the world's largest coral reef. The reef contains an abundance of marine life and comprises of over 3000 individual reef systems and coral cays and literally hundreds of picturesque tropical islands with some of the worlds most beautiful sun-soaked, golden beaches.

This picture shows the image of the Great Barrier Reef taken from the outer space. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven wonders of the natural world. It is larger than the Great Wall of China and the only living thing on earth visible from space.

The marine park stretches over 3000km (1800 miles) almost parallel to the Queensland coast, from near the coastal town of Bundaberg, up past the tip of Cape York.In recognition of its significance, UNESCO listed the Great Barrier Reef as a World Heritage Site in 1981.
